Couples Shower

Fran,

My fiancé and I live in Texas and are having a small, intimate wedding in San Francisco on July 4, 1998. We are expecting  approximately 30 of our closest family members and friends to attend. Two of our closest friends have offered to give us "couples shower" parties for the people who cannot attend the wedding due to its location.  Is this acceptable?

I eagerly await your response!

Carie

Dear Carie:

It is a wonderful idea, and how thoughtful of your friends!

Those who love and care about you, will want to share in your wedding in any way they can.  Because your wedding is so distant, a couple shower is a great way to include "everyone" and still have your small, intimate wedding.  Enjoy!!!

Sincerely,

Fran
